The Baptist Health South Florida Intercultural Palliative/End-of-Life Care Training Program is designed to increase our healthcare professionals’ knowledge, skills, ability, and comfort level when caring for seriously ill and dying patients from an interculturally diverse population. This blended training program consists of two parts. The First Part requires that you complete the online modules and quizzes and evaluations at the end of each module plus the final evaluation at the end of the online modules. This part has core required modules for each discipline which must be completed before registering for the second part. When you have completed all modules we ask that you complete the final online program evaluation. The Second Part of the training program is a scheduled interactive classroom session where you will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned and work in teams to discuss and solve case studies. Once both parts are completed your certificates will become available in your transcript under the tab My Transcript. There are optional modules that you may also complete for your knowledge and earn additional continuing education credits. Search with key word "optional" to find them. |
